Admission Requirements, Tuition & Fees
Note: All fees are subject to change without notice.
Billing and payment are done on a semester basis rather than annually. In an effort to spread out the financial burden, payments are required at the start of each semester instead of having to pay the entire amount all at once at the beginning of the school year.
Tuition and fees are calculated based on the selection of academic program, course load, cohort year, citizenship, room and meal plan selection and parking if required. These fees are due by the deadline date posted. Diploma & degree students' accounts may be viewed through WebAdvisor. Certificate students will be emailed their bills. The University does not issue printed bills or statements.
The following listing of Tuition and Fees is for budgeting purposes only – it does not constitute an invoice or registration billing.
You will NOT be sent a paper copy of your bill. Please check your Student Account on WebAdvisor regularly. The amount you owe for the Fall semester is only available to view through the Registration Billing option on WebAdvisor.
The primary method of payment is through your bank (online, telephone or teller). Payment for your tuition fees, residence and meal plan should be made through this method.
When paying through your bank, in order to ensure that your payments are directed to your account, select “UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH STUDENT FEES” as the payee and use your student number as your account number.

Account OnCampus Students (Certificates & Coop Diploma Apprentices)
You will be emailed a copy of your invoice to your U of G Gryph Mail Account. You will NOT be sent a paper copy of your bill.
Payment through your bank (online, telephone, teller) is NOT AVAILABLE to Account OnCampus students. Please mail or bring in a certified cheque, money order or bank draft, payable to “University of Guelph, Kemptville
Campus”. Please include your name and student ID on your payment.
You can also pay in person with cash, Interac, Visa or MasterCard. If you would like to phone in your payment with Visa or MasterCard, please call 613-258-8336, ext 0.
No Personal cheques will be accepted.
Important Payment Deadlines
Winter 2012 semester payments due on January 13, 2012.
Late fee effective January 14, 2012.
