Kemptville Health Unit:
Kemptville's Health Unit is part of the hospital, directly across from Bell Hall. The services provided include preventative health education, health counselling, nutrition and weight control, information regarding student health, and referrals to community health services. The Health Unit also offers information and help for drug and alcohol problems as well as mental health concerns. They offer guidance for sexually transmitted diseases.

A family planning clinic is located here with services such as birth control, pregnancy testing and counselling. The Health Unit is open on Monday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon.

Accidents, Sickness, Physical Problems & Emergencies:
Student to contact a Doctor for an appointment prior to going to the Kemptville District Hospital (whenever possible). Counsellors will assist student to obtain appointment.

Social Problems:
Student to contact Leeds/Grenville/Lanark Health Unit. The client or student must ask for help and we can make them aware of these services.

Birth Control:
At the beginning of semester we hold a lecture/discussion session on birth control and health. We recommend that you attend this session.
