Economic theory of marketing principles are applied to the marketing of organically-produced and processed products, through exploring open market price formation, value added, marketing margins, alternative marketing outlets and branding.
This course explores why and what could be done to rapidly advance development of the organic sector in Canada. Frameworks for determining effective organic food and farming policies and programs are discussed and proposals for policy and program change analyzed.
The AgriBusiness eCampus is a web-based national resource centre for agribusiness management and entrepreneurism knowledge and information. The ABeCampus brings together educators, government, non-government, and industry associations to create a unique partnership network, providing farmers and producers with direct access to online and face-to-face business management tools: information, resources, training and networking - anytime, anywhere.
