Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management (BBRM), Equine Management
Are you passionate about horses and looking for a management career in the equine industry? Canada's first degree program in Equine Management features hands-on learning focused on the biology, physiology and behaviour of horses as well as the economic, environmental and business aspects of associated industries. After the completion of the second year and under guidance from program coordinators, students will participate in an experiential learning experience (internship), working directly in the equine industry in their area of interest.
BBRM Equine Management major is the first of its kind in Canada. Coursework includes a unique blend of applied and theoretical learning in equine sciences and technology coupled with strong business training.

Diverse learning though multi-campus studies
Students who enroll in the BBRM Equine Management program will spend their first two years studying at the Kemptville Campus, then transfer to the main Guelph Campus for the final two years of the program.

- Students in the Equine Management program have the advantage of diverse learning opportunities though multi-campus studies, spending their first two years of study at the Kemptville Campus, and then transferring to the main Guelph Campus for the final two years.
- Hands-on learning opportunities, internship placement, lectures by equine professionals and a series of courses over the four years looking at trends and issues in the equine industry on a local, national and global scale.
- A limited number of degree students will be able to enroll in the popular Riding or Coaching & Horsemanship programs at the Kemptville Campus.
